About Me

I began my photography in 1996 when my friend Mark and I went to the lake to take the boat out. I was taking a picture with Mark’s camera, when the boat turned over. Obviously, this didn’t fair well for the camera and since I was holding it when we went in the water, I felt responsible, and offered to pay Mark for the camera. I paid him and took it home and dried it out. The camera was fine and I started taking pictures.

Shortly after I got the camera and started taking pictures, a friend shared one of my contact sheets with a professor of photography, Fred Draper. He wanted to meet with me and told me that I had (THE EYE). He encouraged me to enrich my talent by receiving formal training. I quickly enrolled in his General Photography course and followed-up with several other photography courses that enhanced my abilities with composition and technique. Fred became my mentor. His assistance along with a lot of trial and error made me a better photographer. As every one knows, a picture speaks a thousand words, and if that’s the case, then I’ve written an epic novel. The rest is history. I love doing what I do.

I began photographing weddings in 1998. My photography has continuously improved as my business has grown. Capturing that special moment when you say “I DO” is where my true passion and talent thrives. Your day will unfold like a fairytale story taken with a twist of traditional, journalistic and artistic styles.

Weddings are a big part of my business, but fashion photography was my first love. Recently I did a shoot for a musician and it spurred me to get back into the fashion photography business. While I'll always do weddings, I would like to spend more time in the industry, so here I am and I hope to do business with you.
