I have been interested in photography ever since I was young kid, my father was a portrait photographer with his own darkroom & studio... I loved helping him (read ‘playing’) in the dark room.

My first real 'photo-making' experience was using a cheap automatic Ricoh film camera, reluctantly loaned to me by mum. I remember asking her to purchase the 400 speed film for the camera so I could get action photos of me and my brother skateboarding in streets after school when the afternoon light was starting to fade.

Many years later I started working in a shop selling digital cameras & eventually became the store manager, the era of digital photography was here! My passion for photography definitely helped to sell many digital cameras, after working hard selling cameras I finally had enough money to buy my own digital SLR. Let the fun begin!

My first few years of 'photo-making' consisted of everything from of people, places & cars. Basically anything that would stay still long enough, capturing the moment whatever it was satisfied me.

These days I strive towards more specific creative goals. It’s not just ‘photo-making’ anymore it’s art & expression. My desire to capture a moment in time, a breath, a subtle glimpse, to capture something truly beautiful..... Being able to stop time forever, with one shutter flick, mesmerises me and drives me to explore the depths of my creativity further.
