I am a traveling makeup artist, originally from Omaha, NE. I have been a licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist since 2002, as well as an educator for skincare, waxing, and makeup companies. I've had the opportunity to work in a lot of different environments, as well as work alongside and learn from so many incredibly talented people...

I have experience working in many genres, including: print, runway, television, live events, special/formal occasions, and of course, weddings. I also teach private and/or group makeup & skin care lessons, and I've even been known to act as sort of a personal shopper (in person or online) to help clients find the products best suited for their needs. Additionally, I may be one of the most eyebrow obsessed people you will ever meet! Honestly, just ask anyone that's ever met me...I truly love creating perfect brows on set or in a salon!

My portfolio here is a small sample of some of my favorite work from over the years... If you'd like to see more or have a certain project in mind, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm always open to ideas and really enjoy working with a team of talented people to create something amazing! I have done quite a bit of hairstyling on set and I enjoy doing so, but I am not a professional stylist as I am mostly self taught, so I do prefer working along side a pro when possible. I have no problem staying on set during a project, and if needed I am more than happy to assist with styling, posing, wardrobe, makeup/hair touchups, etc.. I have been told many times that my ability to see and correct tiny details before and during a shoot is much appreciated when it comes time to edit!

Basically, I absolutely adore what I do... can you tell?! Even after a dozen years, I still can't imagine doing anything else. I am quite serious about it, as it is my career and not just a short term hobby. That said, I am totally open to test or trade work when an awesome opportunity comes along that will benefit everyone involved! I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work (that may be a huge understatement!), but I am also very flexible, easy to work with, and look forward to a challenge. I will always be there on schedule, and I will always have as much fun as possible... I just ask that everyone involved does as well!

*UPDATE!* (March 2014) After spending a few months in Alaska, I've found that I really like it and will be staying around for a while! I do travel a fair amount (US and more), and I almost always travel with my kit. If you're near the Anchorage area and interested in working with me, just let me know! If you've found my profile, but you're not anywhere near Anchorage, please don't let that stop you (it doesn't stop me!)! I will post travel notices when I have them, and as long as I have an internet connection, I check messages regularly.
