I am a British Photographer, recently settled in Winnipeg, Canada. For a short while I have been finding my feet in the country, however now I am ready to start looking at new assignments. I will be working out of the St.Vital area of Winnipeg.

I am keen to talk to, make friends and network with any Canadian photographers, (especially) models, MUAs and designers, specifically, though not exclusively in the Winnipeg area.

In the longer term, I am planning to set up a studio, so an array of props, sets and backdrops should be available in due course. Group shoots, model/studio days and networking events are on the cards, as well as studio rental.

As a side note to this, to all models in the UK, I am no longer taking bookings for shoots. However, I shall be interested in maintaining communication with the UK model/photographer community, as I shall be revisiting the UK regularly.

My focus is compiling a collection of unusual and unique images based on dramatic & creative ideas with a variety of models of any shape, size, race or gender.

I am very happy to work at the request of models wishing to expand their portfolio and more than happy to work with models with very little or no experience, but I insist on a positive attitude and feed back so all parties can benefit.

Up until now I've focused on alternative fashion, atmospheric portraits and figure nudes. I will continue to shoot in these styles, but i am keen to branch out into other styles such as high fashion, lingerie, swim suit and glamour, nude & clothed. My goal is to add further diversity to my book. That said, I am not interested in shooting top shelf adult images, open leg or anything of a pornographic nature, it's not something that interests me nor want in my portfolio.

I work to a variety of compensation scales, my rates are in accordance to location and travel expenses and are reviewed on a case by case basis, I do work to some TF* if its a project that is mutually beneficial, on rare occasions I am prepared to negotiate paying models.

When working TF*, I'll edit 6 images for you which I will let you as the model select from a secured disk of images - These unedited versions are for your eyes only for selection purposes and will not be usable as prints or postable online. The 6 final edited images will be high quality printable files and the same 6 images as web ready versions.

I'm technically a part time photographer, as I work another job, however I work in a professional manner and treat my work and models with 100% commitment.

Of the models I work with, all I ask is that you have or are of the following:
* a sense of humor (and adventure if on location).
* committed, to at least our shoot, if not to modeling professionally.
* excellent standards of hygiene and grooming.
* be advertised accurately in your portfolio.
* if you are paying me, payment be prompt and on the day of the shoot.
* over 18 (models under 18 will be considered if accompanied by a parent or guardian).

As a photographer I am/will
* treat all models with professional courtesy.
* be prompt in all communications.
* if TF*, supply you with the fully edited web and print-sized images promised within 7-10 days of the shoot.
* if paying, will only pay after the shoot, never in advance.
* smoke and drink alot of tea.

As a photographer I will NOT
* ask anyone to shoot outside their levels, so rest assured.
* smoke around you if you specifically ask me not to.
* pay or compensate a model if advertised falsely, as I will not even take the camera out and the shoot will not take place.

Please take note, but not offense of this, as although I'm patient, generous and approachable, I don't like my time being wasted, I want a result for your benefit as mine as well as mine.

I have no problem with chaperones, however i insist the chaperone be discussed before the shoot and if they become a distraction or hindrance at any time I will politely ask them to leave the immediate area/room before I continue on with the shoot. If the level of disruption is excessive the shoot may not recommence.

Tattoos and piercings; Great, I have no problem, if a model wants a tattoo or a piercing, it's by and large meaningful and part of their character, and it's exactly that, character, I want to capture in my work.
