Hello, I’m Sam Sauter. I am a portrait photographer based in the Hampton Roads area. I photograph people, usually in a studio but once in a while I like going outside and using our beautiful local landscapes. My work has been exhibited in various galleries and has won numerous awards. I have freelanced for over 12 years with over 5 years in a professional studio. My work, my life, introduces me to many people that I would normally not meet and has taken me places I would never normally go. To many people this is something to be scared of, the unknown, for me it is the reason I wake up in the morning. I am always grateful for these opportunities to place something beautiful in a world were the most colorful thing people see daily is a video game screen.
