About Me

BACKGROUND

My photography is all about versatility. I have a very well equipped Attic studio and for outdoor shooting I'm conveniently close to various parks, and Lake Michigan. Like many, but not all photographers, I do my own retouching and in addition I use 3D graphics for some projects.

WHY I JOINED
The usual reasons -networking to find easy to work with models, as well as  talented  makeup people, stylists who want to create great photos. I like all kinds of photography -just about everything from still life, kids, pets, portrait, fashion, to fine-art. I've made some wonderful friends at MM.

JUST ASK
The work speaks for itself. Ask me for my very affordable rates -you will be pleasantly surprised. At this point, TF projects are very, very limited and only for very special projects.

HOW I WORK
I'm very fond of the Golden Rule -treat others the way you want to be treated, and I hope, that you also subscribe to this approach. Because, I view working with people as a collaboration, I will be asking you lots of questions. This means that before we do any work together, I want to discuss what kind & styles of photos you especially admire, what  special talents & interest you have (that might have a bearing on the work) and we go on from there to plan our photo-shoot.

STATEMENT
Photographers often claim that they have a special, unique view of their subjects. Is this real? I invite you to check out my photos of MM models with their portfolios which show how other photographers see them.

You can also find me on Thumbtack:

CREDIT
If you are too lazy to fill out the CREDIT under each photo in your portfolio then you're not the type of person I want to work with. Giving credit to all of the people who work on a shoot is part of showing respect and appreciation for their contribution.
Having an MM link makes it easy and convenient for the viewer to find their portfolio. If the model or other collaborator is not an MM member -simply fill in their name as part of the title. That's what I do.

PIRACY PROBLEMS
A quick word about the large obtrusive watermarks/signatures on my MM photo samples.  Rather than posting smaller, low resolution photos, I prefer to post large high quality samples and therefore to discourage (reduce the likelihood)  stealing and showing up on some one's website as their work I put these obtrusive marks on the photos. Models also appreciate not having their stolen images appearing on the net.

**Friend requests will not be granted if I don't know you (I have not looked at your work, or we have not talked, and  or you have not bothered to look at and comment on my work).
