Hi Everybody,
My name is Richie Wermuth. I'm from Cocoa Beach FL. I first got into modeling because a friend told me to attend Model Search NYC. So I got a couple photos done with my cousin and gave it a shot. After a couple rounds i got to walk in front of multiple premiere agencies from NY, LA, and Miami. When the day was over I ended up getting 8 call backs from various agencies including Nous, Abrams Artists, R&L, Renegade, etc. A couple months went by and I decided to sign with Renegade in NY. At the time I was 170lbs. And they made me drop about 20lbs before I could start going on castings. I dropped the weight and they had me move out to NY city for a couple months. I got to go on tons of sick castings, experienced fashion week, and booked some really fun jobs ranging from casual clothes, to teeth, to "European swimsuits" lol, to even a show during fashion week (clothing line called Gilded Age). But it still wasn't enough to pay the rent! :)

NY was an awesome experience, I learned so much about the industry. I also learned that as much as I would like, I really don't have a NY "high fashion look." Which is all good, it's now time for me to get back on school. I am currently living in Orlando FL attending UCF. I have been getting some pretty steady commercial gigs here in Orlando, but I could always use more work, even if it is for free, I'll take the exposure.

When I moved back to Florida I put back on the 20lbs that I lost (155 to now 175), but didn't put on any fat so ideally speaking I'm trying to break into the fitness/underwear modeling industry also.

For future plans I really have the desire to try to model and act in another city besides Orlando and NY. Hopefully LA, but Miami will do.
