I’m Mike. Born in Brooklyn, grew up in the Philippines, and finally back in New York by way of a nine-year layover in San Francisco.

I specialize primarily in portrait and head shot work, as well as lifestyle and event photography. I’m based in the New York Metro Area, but travel to San Francisco, Boston, and DC a few times a year and am available for hire in those areas, depending on specifics.

I believe that photography is, above all else, about connection. That when you put the camera to your eye, nothing exists save for you and your subject. I believe that the best efforts are collaborative and that this applies to everything in life, not just photography. I believe that a sense of humor is the most effective shock absorber, and without one your life is gonna be a long, bumpy ride.
