Juan Ayora re-located at the end of 2009 to Northern California to document the recovery of Salmon in the Sacramento River for NOAA, in the process he made new friends and got involved in more projects. Because of that, he decided to stay working between Sacramento & San Francisco.

Juan Ayora has been taking photos since he can remember, the son of a great photographer and a model, he grew-up traveling and learning about photogrpahy by real experience. This also gave him a unique perspective of the World an it's diversity.

He is known for his ability to capture the personality of people through his portraits and editorial work and transmit the message of his clients through his commercial work.

Ayora has become one of California's most well known fashion & editorial photographers. His work has been featured across the globe in some of the most important magazines and he has created memorable portraits of hundreds of people from all over the World.

Juan Ayora also enjoys shooting a limited number of weddings every year. He finds weddings to be one of the most marvelous opportunities to combine photo-journalism with the beauty of a real-life fashion-editorial assignment.
