The Nixon Nudes is a coffee table-format collection of action photos and pithy, internet-meme styled statements. The book juxtaposes the scandal-ridden, buttoned-down President of the late 1960's to the innocent, free-loving youth of the same era, who ironically, were labeled in their time as mischievous. Beneath the molded plastic visage of our 37th President, nude models engage in various activities, some suggestive, others overtly arousing.

Was American Politics’ greatest villain exactly that, or was his iconic stance and deep gaze a disguise for the raw humanity that the 1960's and 70's demanded of its leaders? Combined with the nude human form, Nixon's plasticized expression begs the observer to separate the Raw from the Refined and to ask, what lies beneath the mask of every leader and of humanity in general? The anonymity the mask focuses the audience’s consideration on the broader statements of dualism and less on the individual striking the pose. Anyone can be a Nixon.
