My name is Mel and I am a Sydney-trained makeup artist now living in sunny Brisbane. Whilst my passion is makeup for fashion and runway, I still love all areas of makeup - bridal, film, TV etc. I have specialist skills in airbrush makeup and am also a spray tanner. If it's something a bit out of the ordinary you're after, ask me about my body paint and special effects (SPFX) skills: check out my photos using prosthetic pieces, bald caps, latex etc . I do simple hair (both up and down styles).

I mostly do paid work, but will consider TFCD for great fashion projects, so please get in touch if you've got anything you'd like to collaborate on. I love bringing out the best in people and enjoy the way makeup transforms an individual and love working with creative, like-minded folk. I am extremely reliable and professional. I am available usually only Sundays and Tuesdays due to commitments with Lancome, so would need a week's notice for shoots (it also gives me time to plan a look to suit the model/type of look we're trying to achieve, and time to buy any additional product I might need).
