Xiomara (See-o-mara) Medina aka XIO would like to share with you her latest album titled “So Alive,” an invigorating production categorized as Electronic-Pop. Xiomara wrote all the songs and co-produced some of the songs featured in this exceptional production guaranteed to make you stomp your feet as you are listening. “So Alive” is Xiomara’s second album a follow up to her first successful album “Temperatures of my Life”. While in the promotional stages of her first album, Xio had the chance to explore her love for acting. You can see her in films like “Rotten Luck” as Eve one of the leads, "Laid-Off," as Candle and "Finding Home," as Karla one of the leads. At this time, Xiomara is considering future projects.

Some of Xiomara's past experience includes dancing on MTV's programs “Global Grooves” and “Jams,” hosting PDA Tournaments Series for ESPN Deportes and acting in comedy sketches for Telemundo’s late night comedy show “No te Duermas” in P.R. and local theater plays for "Arriba el Telon". She also worked as a disc jockey for Fidelity 95.7 FM in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Xiomara was contacted to pen material for Aphrodite, an all female group. She wrote their first single, “Sex in New York City,” which was licensed and used in the smash-hit TV show “Sex and the City” during its run on TBS.
Xiomara’s humble beginnings started in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where at the age of six, she was already showing a surprisingly deep love for music and the performing arts. Eventually, Xiomara wrote and produced both her single "Borinquen" which was dedicated to her birthplace along with a sensational video for the song which you can find on youtube.com. Her success with "Borinquen" gave her the opportunity to share the stage with Puerto Rican legend Jose Feliciano and renowned NY Yankee player Bernie Williams, among other celebrities throughout the tri-state area.
