I am an amateur photographer out of SE Michigan just starting out and trying to get a feel for the craft. I am looking to grasp more of the artistic side of the field, as I have until this point been a very technical and ordinary photographer. I have not done any studio shots to this point; instead I am an event photographer, walking around and snapping photos "of the moment". I have normally done posed photos at comic book/anime conventions and other events, and am looking to expand into the wider world of photography.

I hope to learn something from my fellow photographers and grow as an artist. Feel free to message me if you have any tips or pointers, as I am open to all suggestions for growth.

I am nominally attached to a non-profit group that helps raise funds for charities and charitable events, as their photographer.
