My name is Katelyn Bowman and being an actress and commercial print model has been my dream every since I was a little girl. I began pursuing my dreams my freshman year of high school when I auditioned for John Robert Powers school of acting and modeling in New York City. Out of a group of 54 people, I was one of five that were chosen to attend JRP. I have been taking all sorts of classes there for the past five years and even attended IPOP LA 2008. I received a handful of callbacks from IPOP and was even presented with a contract from Model Management Group NYC. Unfortunately the contract did not work out but I am still determined on making my dream a reality. I am looking forward to being a part of the Model Mayhem website because I truly believe that it will become an important factor in my modeling career. I am hoping to meet many photographers who are willing to take a chance on a petite model. Also to simply gain more modeling experience and knowledge.
