Rick Taylor is a Fashion, Editorial, Commercial, Portrait and Events Photographer.

Rick's work is an ethereal blend of stylization & magical realism with a vivid twist of shock and awe. A juxtaposed blend of opposites — sexuality and innocence, pop and noir, dynamism and control— telling infinite stories.

An eye for detail and quick reactions ensures Rick's work stands out from others, his distinctive and polished style is a combination of lighting technique and the emotional connection that only comes with experience.

"Photography is my passion as well as my profession. When I am not “working” I am always reading, learning and trying out new techniques. I eat, sleep and breath photography!
I have been professionally involved with photography for over 10 years, working in the photographic services industry and photographic retail, then starting my own business in 2010"

Originally from the North of England, Rick comes from a fine art background studying Art & Design then completing a BA in Design {photography & video production} in Greater Manchester in the 1990's. Rick is currently based in Dublin, Ireland where he has been settled for the last 10 years.

Rick is at home both in the studio and on location and always ensures that each shoot is unique and special. A great deal of planning and organisation goes into every shoot from research, concept development and story-boarding.
