Hi to all interested parties,
As a self proclaimed serious amateur photographer. I’m 60 year old man and I’ve been camera shooting for many years. Mostly club / fraternity installations, family reunions, anniversary celebrations, a few weddings (hate them), Senior pictures etc.. I love portrait work but have limited access to willing adult models in the Rapid City, SD area. I would love to find a female model to expand experience and complete some of my photography ideas. I’ve got some great equipment (lights, cameras, backgrounds, etc.) but need a subject. My wife detests having her picture taken. I’ve tried the hiring of an exotic dancer to work on a project. It didn’t turn out to bad just expensive and with my allergy to cigarette smoke the spending the evening in a smoke filled bar suffering to try to find a model is a pain. I’m recent past president of the only local camera club and was for several years. I’ve been teaching photography to the newer shooters for years. Everything from 8 year olds to 60+ year seniors. I was shorted on my early art training so my drawing abilities stops at stick people. Photography has given me a way to express me creative side. I enjoy the unusual stuff like, light painting, sound trigger work and unusual angles / perspectives. Am somewhat proficient in Photoshop. Thanks for reading!
