Born in 1985, Charles-Edouard Gil, photograph, did a work-study course between Lyon and
Paris.His way of seing things is tinctured by years he passed into Caribbean Islands,
where he discovered diverse cultures which gave him this creative and sensitive mind.
His academic curriculum started with photography studies in Lyon. He obtained his
professional French baccalaureat with honours. Then, he carried on in Paris with a
Brevet Technique des Metiers (the equivalent of the Higher National Diploma).
From 2007 to 2009 (when he passed his final exams and succeeded),he has been
employed by Nomades' studios in Lyon. In the meanwhile, he won the
Diamond Objective 2008 and the Golden Diaphragm 2009.

Né en 1985, Charles-Edouard Gil, photographe, travaille en alternance entre Lyon et
Paris.Son regard est impregné des nombreuses années qu'il a passé aux Caraibes,
ou il côtoit une pluralité de cultures, lui donnant ainsi cet esprit créatif et sensible.
Il obtient successivement son Bac Professionnel de Photographie en 2007 à Lyon,
puis son BTM Photographie à Paris en 2009.
Au cours de ses deux dernières années d’études, il est engagé en tant qu’apprenti
au sein du Studio Nomades, ou il a l’opportunité de travailler pour des grandes marques
françaises et internationales, tout en affinant parrallèlement son propre style dans la
photographie de mode et beauté.
Il se distinguera en obtenant l’objectif de diamant 2008 et le diaphragme d’or 2009.
