I’m a commercial/editorial/portrait photographer in the beautiful state of Arkansas, I’m amazed daily at the people and places I see. At 18 I accidentally stumbled upon my love for photography, let’s just say that unlike most of my accidents, it’s worked out pretty well.
 
I was initially drawn to photography because it encompasses almost everything I love. I’ve always loved meeting new people, learning about other cultures, traveling, and creating. Photography is just a natural fit. Everyday is different; no two shoots are the same, I love both the mental and physical challenges that each day brings.
 
I almost always shoot digital because of its convenience and post production possibilities, but I love the beauty and simplicty only found in film. There is something about getting back to the basics, maybe it’s because my first photography experiences with photgraphy were with a second-hand roll of Fujifilm and a old Nikon N70. Film forces me to become much more aware of not just the composition and the technical aspects, but also of my subject. (Film=Relaxing)
 
I know photography has kind of come into vogue lately. A lot of people claim to enjoy photography or even love it, but I honestly eat, sleep, and breathe it. I’m one of lucky few who knows what I wants to do with my life.
 
People ask me everyday what genre of photography work I do. My answer will always be whatever gets a camera in my hands! I know every moment and every subject can produce an amazing photo. I don’t ever want to have a “look”. I belive that if a photographer isn’t always evolving he or she isn’t creating.
