With a finely tuned European fashion and beauty aesthetic, Joshua Kogan brings his chic and evocative photographic style to every shoot.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Joshua began his career as gaffer, and eventually stills photographer on film and music video sets in Hollywood. The young photographer soon found himself shooting advertising for Guess Jeans and celebrity editorial for ultra-trendy Detour magazine.

A lover of art, architecture, food, travel and history, Joshua moved to Paris in 1999. Living and working in the fashion and luxury capital of Europe for the next 10 years, he worked closely with the modeling agencies, helping them develop their new talent into top models. Soon Joshua was working with some of the most dynamic fashion and beauty editors in Europe, shooting covers and editorial for Harpers Bazaar, G.Q., Glamour, Marie Claire, Playboy and Madame Figaro. Joshua's commercial assignments and special projects include collaborations with Dolce & Gabanna, Armani, Gianfranco Ferre, Salvador Dali Fragrances, Billabong Surfwear, Levis Strauss and Interscope Records.

For 5 years, Joshua worked alongside the iconic designer Valentino, capturing the world surrounding the designer's Paris
fashion shows. This intimate social reportage celebrates the people and the pageantry that make the House of Valentino's
signature so alluring. For this project Joshua photographed some of the leading talents and personalities in fashion,
entertainment, and media, including Anna Wintour, Mario Testino, Gwyneth Paltrow, Oprah Winfrey,
Tom Ford, Elizabeth Hurley, Suzy Menkes, Hamish Bowles, and Naomi Campbell.

A limited edition portfolio of Joshua's travel reportage entitled “Tripography” will be published in 2011. Spanning 15 years and more than 20 countries, this collection of environmental portraits, landscapes, reportage and still life imagery
is the result of Joshua's deeply rooted passion for people, nature and beauty. Exhibitions are planned for Los Angeles and Mexico City.
