Aaliyah Taylor is a Fashion Stylist and Beauty & Wardrobe Consultant, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ms Taylor graduated from Philadelphia University (formerly Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences) with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising. Aaliyah has been working as a freelance wardrobe stylist for the last 3 years. The great majority of her career after graduation was spent working with music icon Patti LaBelle, leaping from intern to full-time key stylist. Her work with Ms. LaBelle resulted in international travel and fashion consultation for premiere global entertainment and social events, including: The UK Music Hall of Fame Awards, The Stellar Awards, and many more prestigious events, television appearances, and performances. Throughout her career she has styled television commercials, ad campaigns, music videos, as well as fashion photo shoots and runway productions. Some of the artists that she has worked with on some of these ventures include Suze Orman, Mary J Blige, T.I., Usher Raymond, Chris Brown, Cee-Lo Green, and Jazze Pha.

Along with these commercial projects, Aaliyah enjoys styling her private clients. Above all else, she loves to see the transformation in a client’s confidence. She strongly believes that the right shoe, an added layer or accessory can change a person from run of the mill to style icon in minutes. Aaliyah always strives to improve a person’s confidence through the enhancement of their own personal style. She gives people the understanding and skills to dress fashionably in clothing that suit their shape, size, personality, and lifestyle. From classic to avant-garde; whatever the style, she can create it! Particularly skilled in predicting current trends, Aaliyah works with today’s fashions, styles, and colors, to create ‘looks’ and new season wardrobes for her clients that enable them to wear “trendy” pieces in ways that suit their comfort level and body type.
