Grettings, and welcome to my page. I am a local fashion designer in the city of atlanta, looking to branch and get my career going. I have been working on and off with my career in fashion for about 12 years. I design, draw, sew and use my creativity to bring my ideas to life.I have been designing for about 10 or so years, and I am a graduate of Clark-Atlanta University, with a 4 year-Dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. I value my talent and the wonderful pathway it has led me involving my education,as well as my personal and professional life. I have experience making patterns, garment construction, working,draping and cutting various fabrics, design and illustration with croquis, flats and specs as well as , fashion show production,sewing and creating new garments.
I have completed internships in different environments and settings working for a manufacturing company,boutiques, teachers aid in the fashion department, freelancing, fashion shows, and many activities. I have participated in many fashion shows here and I am excited by any new project. Concerning my overall experience, I have experience in a variety of industries for 12 years that have provided the tools that I need to be a compitent Designer. Especially with working with and understanding people. This includes long term experience in production work, , teaching, tailoring, fashion illustrating, art, sketching, patternmaking, draping, retail, amongst many other avenues. I am willing to learn and be a considerable asset to what I believe being a part of ,will fulfill me and also contribute towards the direction of my own life in a variety of ways.
