My name is Brandi Davis-Islas. I have been doing professional makeup for approximately ten years. In the past, I have primarily done beauty makeup, such as bridal and engagement events and makeup for those individuals updating their headshots. Thus, I am looking to expand my portfolio. I enjoy period and fantasy makeup. Recently, I have worked with Photo Journalist David Bloominkrantz and Photographer Ian Norman. Furthermore, I continue to be a key makeup artist for a national belly dance troupe, “Twisted Gypsy” (who dance “ATS” or “American Tribal Style”) and their sister troupe, “Gypsy Sisters”. I use a variety of different media for shoots and believe that makeup, like anything, should not be static.
