About Me

I have attached my BIO.... it is long. But when I looked at it to shorten it I didn't know where to shorten it. I do not usually work for TF's but if its an amazing opportunity please don't hesitate in messaging me.

BIO:
Stephanie D. Stordahl “Chance” is one of the top make-up and body paint artists of this time. She has not only been a make up artist for over 13 years but she also started and ran her own modeling company TrueMagic Modelz in St Louis from 2009 to 2010 which specialized in education, make up and body paint. Chance was the St. Louis Fashion Week Creative Director over hair and make up for 3 seasons. Chance won Grand Prize for Extreme Body Paint in the Rep the Runway Fashion Show. She was nominated and won the Hottest Make-Up Artist in St. Louis for the HotList Awards for 4 years in a row and nominated for Make-Up artist of the Year for the Notice Me Awards in St. Louis 2009 and 2010. She won Make-Up Artist of the Year in 2009. TrueMagic Modelz were nominated and won for Model Group of the Year in 2010.

She is currently working as Senior Specialist Make-Up Artist for Too Faced Cosmetics with a territory of South Florida with over 20 stores. She also was the Make-Up artist for Designer Kenzie Perry Kelepso Design Studio and his submission into Project Runway 2011.
As part of the production team for AEG Live she handled each facet and corner of the recent Halloween event as the head of the actor and production and coordination team handling make-up, special effects, costumes, role coordination and overall assistance and scheduling for actors on site at the event. In general she was the magic gel to making the actors, story line and haunted houses and panic zones come to life.
With her past company TrueMagic Modelz she handled every aspect of a small business from contract building, advertisement, networking, branding, accounting, training to make up, body paint and styling. The basis for the company was empowerment, motivation, inspiration and positivity and enable up and coming models to take the tools the company had to offer and reach the highest goals and wishes in life. She offered classes, education, and the tools for the models and the talent to succeed in the career of their choice.

She also was the creative director for St Louis Fashion week where she was in charge of all “Looks” for hair and make-up and nails for all shows which were collaborated with the designers. She taught the other make up artists and hair team the looks, created schedules face charts and recruited some of the artists and hair stylists for the show. Chance executed the more difficult looks for the team. She supervised, checked, and fixed all looks before models were released from hair and make up. She taught last minute changes, and executed quick changes if models were used in other designer’s line up. She provided body paint if needed.

She is a fantastic make-up and body paint artist. Chance specializes in full and partial body paint with the ability to create any look for body paint art whether recreating an animal, abstract, logos/designs, jewels or simulating faux clothes with paint. She does make-up and body paint for runway fashion shows, still life fashion shows, special events, promotions, magazine and calendar photo shoots, model and regular photo shoots, television, music video, commercials, weddings, film, theatre, and live music performances.

She also is trained and has experience in photography. She has coordinated wardrobes and backgrounds used with fashion shows and photo shoots as well as painted new backgrounds maintained and updated old backgrounds used for photo shoots and other events. She also does various artworks for shows and events such as masquerade ball masks, graffiti art, and costumes.

She is very able to create any look from natural to complex period make-up, abstract, couture to monstrous. She has worked closely with production team and designers, costume designers, camera and lighting crew and performers. Chance has done research and design make-up to suit production, event or shoots and worked to detailed notes or rough design briefs. She has executed full hair services, hair tidying, styling, and standing by on set to re-do make-up and hair. Chance has experience in fitting wigs, hairpieces and prosthetics and can create same looks from photograph or prior look by keeping notes and photographs to maintain continuity where needed.

She graduated with a Cosmetology license, and a certificate in Theatrical make-up design from Scot Lewis in Minneapolis, MN. Her education majoring in Fine arts also shows her deep dedication, commitment, and desire for a creative career. Chance is a truly wonderful multi-talented artist awaiting her next adventure.
