About Me

Every person on this earth has a dream, at least one.. My dream is to be a well known talented photographer! TA-DA! *lol* This dream wasn't something that began at childhood. As a kid, I walked around telling everyone I wanted to be a Lawyer! Something about uncovering the facts and serving justice seemed so fun as a munchkin. As I grew older I fell in love with cooking! Both loves I will still carry with me. However, something still wasn't touching my soul. My dream hit me like a ton of bricks when i turned 19. I picked up a camera, magic happened! Love at first "shutter sound". From the moment I realized what I was meant to do! photography! No matter who or what I am photographing I am enjoying it! You get one life on this earth, living it doing what you love and its absolute fullest is my biggest goal.I love capturing moments for people knowing that will carry them forever. Helping write someone's love story without words. Taking a baby's first photographs. Helping a senior commemorate graduation high school with photos they will be remembered with for the rest of their lives. Much goes in to all the beautiful reasons that make my dream as big as it is.

I decided to grab my goal by the horns and make it more than a side hobby. I walked into my first real photography job on accident! Walking through a mall one day I saw a modeling school hiring for a photographer. I had a camera and done several photo sessions outside only. I figured, "What do I have to loose?" The owner took a look at my online portfolio and loved my work! I got the job! The requirements were a little harder to fill. I needed studio equipment to work with models! Thinking of everyone I knew, one person came to mind! My father in-law Walter! He is also a very talented photographer who I knew had his own studio equipment! I gave him a call in hopes he wouldn't mind loaning his expensive equipment to me. His approval and a few good words of wisdom helped me a lot! I had never worked with studio equipment really, and was quite nervous to work with this school. My first big photo shoot was a HUGE success! I have no idea how i did so well without any experience with lighting or know how, but it went very well. I even surprised myself. From that point forward it was one photography gig after another, weddings, church groups.. My photography took off like wild fire! I applied for a job at (Sears Portrait Studio) as a sales associate/photographer and excelled! After 7 months of hard work, photography evaluations and plenty of practice I got promoted to Studio Manager! What a great accomplishment that I have been so proud of myself for! Keeping my dreams and goals in clear focus is something I work hard at every day.

Leaving my mark in life has been something that I really focus hard on. When my days on this earth are all said and done I want to leave behind my talent and work to continue to be loved in my legacy.
