ART FOR ART

The ART for ART costume workshops are among the largest and most renowned in the world. They are the exclusive fitters for the Austrian federal theatres (Vienna State Opera, Vienna Volksoper, Burgtheater, and the Akademietheater).

One of the many features is the number of different trades practiced under one roof, including dressmakers, tailors, fashion designers, milliners, shoemakers, seamstresses, and costume designers. There are specialists for everything.

The know-how of these traditional trades - of which some are extinct in Europe - is passed on from generation to generation.
The workshops emerged from the imperial and royal (k.u.k) workshops and possess know-how dating back for as long as two centuries.
The international sales department works closely with clients all over the globe and is in a position to fulfil every wish no matter how special it may be.
A young, dynamic, and multilingual team of product advisors is available to all customers.
