I am a licensed cosmetologist and amateur make-up artist.
I graduated from Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy Phoenix and opened my own salon right after I graduated. I generally do not specialize, I do it all!
I've participated in RYDER make-up lab's workshops for film and beauty and hold a MAC pro license. I recently moved from Phoenix back to Texas.
I love creating classic and contemporary styles for my clients and models. Listening to the needs and wants of my clients and models is a skill I highly value. I'm very easy to connect with and I love being around people!
I've worked with everything from avant garde, pin-ups, classic 20's-50's, rock-n-roll, to modern/contemporary. I have experience with extensions and temporary accents.
I am looking to dive into hair and makeup for film and photo. I would like to work more on set in photo shoots of any kind for both hair and makeup, male and female models.I admire photographers and have a great deal of respect for them! My father is a professional photographer, I grew up around the business. I love working with everyone in the industry...there's always something new to learn! I would also love to find a mentor!
My goals are to create styles in which the client/model is wanting, to provide a quality experience for that client/model, create a solid artistic portfolio, and gain experience in all aspects of the business. Also, to further my education in the beauty and film industry and share the love of art with all those I come in contact with. :)
