So here I am, 29 years after I entered this world, starting a whole new adventure in the modeling scene. After growing up on several acres in Idaho surrounded by horses and nearly every little creature under the sun, I left my little country world and joined the military. My travels took me to California and all over the world. I love being outdoors and under the sun. I’m a rather adventurous girl and love to horseback ride, swim, snowboard, wake board, hike, and play the violin. Summer is my favorite time of year and I’ll do just about anything that will keep me outside.
A few weeks ago I went with a friend to an out of state photo shoot. I really only intended to be a chaperone or the light reflector holder girl. It all started when we were playing around with some of the costumes and my friend was trying them on when the photographer said he had one that would probably fit me. I know I’m not a little girl. I’ve always been more curvy, and since getting out of the military my size had gone from an 8 to a 12, so I was pretty excited to think that I could play dress up right along side of the more petite girls too. Well, the try on session turned into a full blown photo shoot. I was of course nervous and kind of lost, but I take direction well and it soon became a fun and exciting experience.
Many of my friends model and they have been trying to get me to give it a try for some time, so after my little experience in front of the camera I figured I would go for it. It’s a lot harder work than I had originally thought, but it is definitely growing on me and I want to give it my all and see where it goes.

*****Update on the adventure*****

So here I am a few months into this modeling gig...I am having a blast. I have been lucky enough to work with some really exceptional photographers and just love looking at the images we produce. I have learned A LOT about my part in the photographer/model relationship that has helped me in maintaining my presence and personality infront of the camera, professionalism, and dependability. So far this ride has been a little crazy but super fun at the same time. I LOVE PLAYING DRESS UP!!
