About Me

I moved to Charlotte, NC. I'm available for artists anywhere in a 100 mile radius. I would like to get to know my new home.

My name is January. I started modeling when I was 14. I did some work for Eddie Bauer and Sears. When I was 20, I had a child and only modeled for artists after that. I'm only 5'2'' so I knew my future wasn't in modeling. Right after I had my son, I went to work as an assistant at a photo studio, and I knew right away, that's what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I love every aspect of photography, even the modeling part.

Recently, a friend of mine (Eric Foster - ScreamLoud Photography - MM#190940) talked me into modeling for him at a shootout. I had the opportunity to work with several amazing photographers. I was, by far, the oldest model there, but the experience reminded me how much I love to model.

I'm not looking to do anything for pay or professionally, but if you need a model just to expand your portfolio, I'm your girl. Because I've been behind the camera, I understand angles and lighting. In other words, I'm pretty easy to work with. And also, because of my photography experience, I try not to be as flaky as some models sometimes are. Not to say I'm not at all flaky, but I really, really try to be on time and professional.
