****  LIKELY MY FINAL UPDATE  ****  (12 April 2020)

Shortly after my 15 February 2020 update my wife passed away from cancer.  She was not only my best friend, but she was an outstanding photographer and often worked with me on photo shoots.  My life will never be the same, and I am trying to accept that fact.

I continue to get a few inquires about doing future photo shoots, and as stated in the February update I will probably be doing a few select shoots in the future.  That is if this horrible virus mess ever clears up, and of course if I survive it!  However, also as stated in my February update I do not plan to continue to pay for the VIP service at Model Mayhem.  I do not know what will happen once I no longer pay the yearly fees, but I assume this site will be deleted.

If you are reading this and think you might be interested in working with me in the future then I suggest that you send me a message on MM rather soon or send me an email to the email address at the http://www.KsHeritage.zenfolio.com site since it is the site that both my wife, Suzanne, and I used for our main photography site. 

To those that I have worked with in the past, I wish you the very best!  Yes, it has been a good run!  Lots of fun, and lots of memories working with so many beautiful people during the past dozen or so years. 

For now anyway, and maybe for the last time, I am signing off.

It has been a great run, and I have had the honor of working with some wonderful people thanks to Model Mayhem.  However, I will most likely not continue to pay for Model Mayhem services once my present prepaid services expire. 

I am planning on continuing with some select photo shoots with models that I have worked with in the past as well as a few new models that present me with concepts that I think I might enjoy attempting.  I can be contacted via my personal email address that can be found by reading past posts and following related links. 

ONCE AGAIN, it has been a great run, but all good things must come to an end.

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE on 21 November 2019...

I am going to leave all of my last posted information for anyone that is interested below this latest update, but basically this update is to announce that I will seldom, if ever, be using this Model Mayhem site for my photography in the future.  For now all posted photos will remain, but in about a year when the site comes up for renewal I may not pay to continue with the site.

I have been with Model Mayhem for more than ten years and over that time have worked with some great models from not only Kansas, but Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, Colorado, and even Canada.  Some of their photos are in my Model Mayhem portfolio.  However, I am older and more than ever becoming full-time retired.  Some health issues too, but when you are old that is to be expected!

I have been using Model Mayhem since June of 2009.  During that time I have set up a variety of photo shoots with many different models from Kansas, Missouri, and a number of other states as well as other countries.  A variety of photos from those shoots are in my Model Mayhem portfolio.

IN THE FUTURE I will be using Model Mayhem less and relying more on my main photo website at http://www.KsHeritage.zenfolio.com and my Facebook photography group that can be found by searching for KANSAS HERITAGE PHOTOGRAPHY on Facebook.  Those that are interested in keeping up with my activities are encouraged to sign up at the http://www.KsHeritage.zenfolio.com site with your name and valid email address and also, if on Facebook, ask to join the KANSAS HERITAGE PHOTOGRAPHY Facebook group.

At present I do plan to keep this Model Mayhem site somewhat updated, but I am also considering deleting it sometime in the future.  I do less photo work now than I did ten years ago, and since I am retired I am becoming more and more choosy as to the jobs I want to consider,

I am leaving everything that I have posted in the past below for those that are interested.  Kind of like some type of historic writing!

RETIRED from daily schedules and now working at what I enjoy and working when I desire to work!! 

I have more than 40 years experience as a professional photographer and have had work published in books and magazines around the World.  I still love photography, but being retired I am being rather picky as to the type of work I now consider.  If I like the proposal I do not charge for creative photo shoots that are conducted at my location.  I provide the model with several fully post processed images at no cost.  I do charge for specialized work requested by the model if it is going to take a lot of time or if it is something that I am not really interested in doing or already have plenty in my portfolio that fit the concept.

MY WIFE OFTEN WORKS WITH ME ON PHOTO SHOOTS, AND WE DO NOT DO PHOTO SHOOTS THAT WE FEEL WOULD BE CONSIDERED PORNOGRAPHIC OR THOSE THAT DEPICT EXTREME VIOLENCE.  ALSO, WE DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF IMPLIED NUDE OR NUDE PHOTO SHOOTS WITH ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18.  WE WILL ASK TO SEE ID IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT IN OUR MINDS AS TO A PERSONS AGE.

All models in my Model Mayhem portfolio that had valid Model Mayhem sites at the time of our shoot have been credited under their images in the portfolio.  Click on their names to see their Model Mayhem sites.  Feel free to contact any of them about me and ask any questions you desire.

Note that models do deactivate their sites from time to time, so it is possible you will discover that some of the links no longer work.  I do not remove the link because sometimes models will reactivate their original sites.

Models I have photographed that do not have a Model Mayhem site will not have a link and in many cases their names will not be given.  Some of these women/men were just wanting to do a shoot, but had no desire to have a link to their websites. 

In closing, I encourage people to go to the sites of models I have worked with and comment on their portfolios.
