Hello everyone. I'm Shawn and I am a photographer, but you already knew that. I'm here for one reason and that's finding models that I feel can benefit my portfolio. I am a working photographer and I spend a lot of time in the commercial and editorial realm, primarily in print and web.

The use of Model Mayhem for me is to find talented experienced models that I can work with on my personal projects. My projects currently are in the outdoor lifestyle genre. This includes shoots revolving around outdoor pursuits like hiking, running, camping, backpacking, climbing and the like. I am also looking for athletes and those who can look like athletes.

If you receive a friend request from me it's because I think you may be able to pull off one of the above. I shoot primarily on location and it's a highly produced look. I don't or rarely will I shoot, ambient light. Everything is controlled. Think Nike, Under Armor, Runner's World, Outside Magazine etc. That's my goal.

I also enjoy shooting stylized environmental portraits/head shots in a wide variety of locations.
