Akiyo is a very talented and professional henna artist who has been practicing the art of henna for the past 8 years in the NYC Tristate area.

We only use 100% natural fresh ingredients to insure your safety and the darkest stain. We do not use black henna due to PPD content, which could cause permanent scarring.

Few things to keep in mind using henna for a shoot. you could photograph with henna past on which looks black or photograph the henna stain. To photograph henna stain, henna application should be planned 2 days before the shoot to have the darkest stain. henna stain is the darkest on hands and feet and lighter on other parts of the body.

In addition to henna i also offer waterproof glitter- Luxe Glow which lasts for few days to 10days. it's a very different look from earthly henna look. it's much more flashy, yet elegant look. For this application, it can be done right before the shoot or a day before.
