What it is about music that moves me is the idea that we can trigger a memory, emotion, or a decision with the music we make. i fell in love with music the first time I watched The Wizard of Oz and Dorothy sang “Somewhere over the Rainbow”. I loved the song so much I made my mom buy the record for me and played it everyday and sang along with it until the record broke. Music and i chose one another; I can’t think of a time when music wasn’t the love of my life. It was like love at first listen and I’ve never fallen out of love since.

I first began performing in Elementary school, where my music teachers had taken notice of me, making remarks on my potential. I think you’re born with a style and it becomes more enhanced or vast over time when you are exposed to the differences around you. My mother was heavy into jazz, blues and funk and my father, Pan African, and I’ve always loved gospel so I think all of those things influence my sound and creativity. Some of my influences include Billie Holiday, Etta James, Beyonce, Tina Turner, Minnie Riperton, Janet Jackson, Michael, of course, Anita Baker, Donnie Hathaway and so many more. These are influential musicians who move people to feel with their music.

I want to be an influence in music, perpetuating a culture of giving back and bringing joy to anyone willing to listen, whether its a room of 13,000 or a room of one. I want people to feel inspired to leave that bad relationship, to rise up against the Nay-Sayers, trying to discourage you from your dreams, and most importantly to always love yourself no matter what your circumstance; I want my music to produce strength and confidence in people. What I love most about myself is that I’m not afraid to try new things and take risks with sound, style and texture.

Having a strong support system is very important because you can have all you need to succeed, and likely do so, but it makes a world of difference to have that one person that believes in you, and takes the time to tell you so. I want my music to be that person, the one that answers all your calls no matter how late it gets, the one that doesn't care what you look like in the morning, i want my music to be that unconditional joy people can rely on.

I don't have any albums yet, just an accumulations of songs, but I am hard at work on producing my first completed project with some new, creative and amazing writers, producers arrangers, etc. I know that God has a path for everyone; Every road block I've encountered and overcome has led me to newer and greater opportunities so if I had the chance to do it all again, I’d do it the same way.

I love to express myself anyway I can and modeling allows me that freedom tht maybe performing doesn't. I interested in working with photographers that have a varied creative concept, but I will do no nude photography at all! no alluding to nudity either, bathing suits anything less needs to be specified upon interest message please.
