Raychel was born in 1969 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and has been drawing and painting all her life, as a child she was never far away from a pencil case and sketch pad. After studying General Art and Design, Raychel was drawn to Graphic Design as a chosen career, although she still continued to pursue her love of painting as a hobby.

Raychel now works from her purpose built 'Raynbow Studio' at home creating magical and mythical imagery, for books and private commissions. She works in many mediums, watercolour, gouache, oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil, airbrush, depending upon the subject matter. She has a passion for all things fantasy and takes most of her inspiration from stories and books, music and sounds, movies and the beauty of Nature.

Raychel became a member of the Guild of Erotic Artists in 2005 after visiting Erotica at Earls Court, realising much of her work was of a sensual nature. She has since exhibited with them several times.

Raychel started creating 'Artography' in 2006 - this is the process of creating a fantastical image from a photograph by printing out onto canvas and hand painting in oils, acrylic or watercolour - creating an unusual piece of personalised artwork.

After over 15 years face painting for galas and fayres, Raychel has recently started working with photographers as a make up artist, specialising in unusual and outrageous designs. With several body paint project in the pipeline, Raychel is looking forward to expanding her artwork portfolio with make up and body paint shoots.
