There was a moment in my life when I decided to stop, open my eyes and truly look at the world around me. I suddenly noticed how beautiful the presumed mundane things were. The trees had their own dance and the sky was a shade of blue that I had never truly seen before. Time seemed to slow down just enough to give me the chance to explore with new eyes. Life was different now and I promised myself that I would never forget about my revelation.


In light of this, I would like to give you the definition of the Latin word “Excipio”: meaning “to capture”. In photography, I found the most perfect way to always remind myself and others of all that is beautiful in our world. With camera in hand, I feel fortunate to have been able to capture images that represent my own personal view of my subjects. Someone once said that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and I find this to be very true. It is my hope that every once and a while I might help to change what someone’s idea of beautiful is.


That goal is also pursued by the team of professionals that I work with; the makeup artists, hair stylists, and clothing stylists who pour their creativity into every piece. They inspire me every day! As well as the models with whom I have had the privilege to work. My portfolio is graced with models represented by Ford, Next, Q, Elite, BMG, Michelle and Group, to name a few. I am always excited to work with new talented professionals and collaborate on projects.
