I make things impossible to forget. My job is centered around connection and finding the right places at the right times. I am an image maker devoted to public service and capturing the authentic human experience. Photography is responsible for preserving the most important moments of our lives, and I take that responsibility very seriously. My biggest goal for my work is to inspire action: take a trip, build a family, be a mentor, dance.

For me there’s not much that could beat a life and career based on studying the way light behaves on people and the places that surround them. Storytelling, whatever the medium, is what sustains the past, and guides the future. Each opportunity to capture my subject’s story inspires me to create the next line in my own.
