About Me

Brad Stein is a native New Yorker, who divides his time between Beijing and his stateside hometown. He studied photography at the University of Denver and ICP in New York. Through his experiences of living in Albania, Denmark, China, Thailand and traveling to many other places, Brad’s work encourages people to submerge themselves in the subject no matter how apparently remote. Currently, Brad shoots for a variety of publications, including the New York Times, Travel and Leisure and Vanity Fair, as well as clients such as UNICEF and Verizon. More than an itinerant snapper, he admits he is ‘always looking for something to break down assumptions about the direction we think the world turns’.
