+++Feb. 2016 Update+++

I've sold all my equipment save for a couple of tripods, two camera bodies and my trusty 50mm Canon prime. Gone is my previous motivation to create overt artifice. Now, I'm interested in simple truths about nature and people.

Where am I at with photography right now? --Is a question I'm slowly working my way into these days. What do I or what can I see now that I couldn't before? Where do I place the act, the meditation, the discovery, the inner-analysis of seeing itself in my interaction with the world? What do images mean to me?

My other artistic energies--mostly music--are directed toward the mystical and evoking contemplative, subtle, cosmic and other aesthetic emotions. In the artistic medium of photography these aesthetic values or ideals will likely manifest as obscuration, blending, ambiguity, the difficult to discern, with emphasis placed on light and shadow as tools of spiritual, psychological and existential revelation and concealment.
