About Me

I have always been a designer at heart and practiced traditional art since I was a young child. My strong points are in aesthetics, layout, typography, logo, print, and any other design related tasks. I’m very conscious of Visual flow and Hierarchy and I think they play important roles in Design. As for my other skills I am proficient in Web Design (Flash, HTML, CSS, PHP, ACTIONSCRIPT), 3d modeling, Video and Audio Production and Editing, Print and Branding Design, Photography, Videography, and Motion Graphics. I also have excellent writing and communication skills along with excellent customer service orientation. I am passionate about my work and take great joy and pride when creating something, I truly love what I do and that makes it very easy to continue my learning in the Industry.
Traditional art background with a creative and original style. Very comfortable with computers and designing in various media forms such as print, web, motion graphics, etc. A strong passion for words and use of typography within layout design for print, and excellent writing skills. A true people person capable of conflict resolution and leadership of a team to accomplish given tasks and meet deadlines. Over 12 years of Photography experience a true passion for it. Video experience as well in production and editing with a great eye for composition and framing. In addition to my Artistic background I have great people skills, including a natural leadership ability and excellent problem solving skills.
SKILLS
Full Sail University was an amazing experience and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend such a great school. My program (Digital Arts and Design/Marketing/Business) consisted of 21 months of torturous scheduling, 5 to 7 days a week and 8 to 12 hours a day. I completed the program in 21 months, not failing a single class or taking a leave of absence as most students at Full Sail do. I graduated from Full Sail with a 3.4 GPA. Full Sail has given me a great base of knowledge to start my career and has prepared me for a life of learning in the Industry.B.S. Digital Arts/Design/Multimedia

EDUCATION
I’ve worked with numerous clients on a freelance basis, most of my freelance work has consisted of branding and marketing design but I’ve also done a bit of web redesign as well. I’ve also done video editing for a local Real Estate Broker that consisted of a 28 minute Television show showcasing a real estate auction. I designed a complete campaign for a cancer victim named Sue Shipley creating flyers, brochures, and t-shirts. I created the entire concept which I called “Saving Sue” and the benefit raised over $67,000. I created this entire campaign for free because Ms. Shipley did not have money for funding. I have also had great success in photography and was chosen as one of 10 photographers featured in the recent art show “Digital Graffiti” at Alys Beach (2008) which was featured in USA Today. I was chosen from hundreds of entries around the world and I am very proud of this accomplishment.
WORK EXPERIENCE
ABOUT ME
I am also an extremely fast learner and catch on quickly to new methods and software. My true passion lies in print and photography work, I’m not sure what it is.... Maybe it’s just timeless to me, the paper, the ink, the beauty of movement caught in a split second, it all draws me in. There is nothing like creating something for print or talking a photograph and seeing it come to life, holding it in your hands, looking at it with your eyes and experiencing what print and photography is all about: The Touch. In my graduating class at Full Sail University I was elected as Art Director for every major team project throughout the length of our program and we showed great success. I am a natural born leader and idea generator with endless streams of creativity.
