My name is Sam and I currently reside and work in Manhattan. I grew up in the Midwest (St. Louis, MO and Tulsa, OK). I received my bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising and management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and currently work full-time as an assistant retail buyer. Outside of work, I am heavily involved in dance and artistic-competitive rollerskating. I've been trained over the course of my life in several styles of dance including hip hop, jazz, modern, contemporary, ballet, and tap. I currently work as a go-go dancer for various nightclubs, bars, and lounges around the NYC area and am the head coach of the FIT Dance Team. Previously, I was a go-go dancer and burlesque performer in St. Louis, MO. I started artistic rollerskating at the age of 15 months, started competing at age 2, and have been involved in the sport ever since. I've done a little modeling that is mostly dance related. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, taking walks around the city, hanging out with friends, and reading. My goal for being on this site is to meet photographers that will be able to help me build up my portfolio. I would love to audition as a backup dancer for a famous artist and go on tour and having a collection of great photographs of myself would certainly help! I'm open to most styles of photography.
