I have been doing makeup artistry for over ten years. I started out practicing on myself and friends, and then progressed to doing makeup for formal events, such as weddings and dances, in addition to makeup for models. I now earn part of my living through makeup artistry.

My work focuses on enhancing beauty; that means dewey skin, glowing cheeks, sensual lips, and accentuated eyes. I can create very natural looks which utilize neutral colors, more dramatic looks for evenings and formal events, as well as looks that capture the mood and colors of the season. All my creations focus on perfecting the look of the skin to the fullest extent possible, because perfected skin is the cornerstone of a good makeup applicaion.

I can work around most skin imperfections, including acne breakouts, scars, and birthmarks. I also have experience working with models who have ethnic skin, and on models who have makeup that has been permanently tattooed on.

SAMARA 's skin was very broken out. I focused on covering up the breakouts without covering up her.

LAURA looked tired before our photo shoot. I brightened up her face and emphasized her eyes and lips without allowing her makeup to look overdone.

JENNIE struggled with combination skin that looked both dull and oily, had a noticeable birthmark on the side of her nose, and had her eyebrows tattooed on. I evened out her complexion, gave her cheeks a pink flush, emphasized her eyes and lips with a touch of silver and gold, and painted a stylized tiara on her forhead. I left her dramatic tattoed eyebrows alone- her overall makeup application was dramatic, so they fit well with it.

VICTORIA had hyperpigmentation (blotchy areas of darkened skin), which is very common among those with dark skin. She also had issues with breakouts and blackheads. I evened out her complexion and made her eyes sparkle. For the finishing touch I gave her lips a splash of bold coral color.

KLAUDIA had very few skin blemishes- she was only sixteen at the time of the photos. Her makeup look was inspired by flora, and the end result was stunning.
