I have been a professional artist for nearly 40 years. For most of my career I was in comic books and have won numerous awards including best artist. Recently, I've been obsessed with getting models into the studio to compose some of my finest masterpieces.

Working with me is very easy.  I have a few simple rules:

(1) If I call or email you, please call or email back within 48 hours.  It's the professional and courteous thing to do.  If you're busy or traveling put a notice in your profile.

(2) Show up on time or call to let me know you'll be late.

Being an artist model is different than a photo shoot.  Sometimes I have an idea of what I want to do before we meet, but usually I create the portrait around the model.

Please note that Steve Rude is in his 60's and is autistic, computer illiterate, and does not text or retrieve emails. All emails go through his personal assistant and wife, Jaynelle Rude.
