you saw correctly, i'm in a wheelchair. pretty unconventional in everything i do and that will show more, photographically, when i get in front of my own camera. yes, i'm a photographer, too (#1022189). representing those with disabilities is majorly important to me, in modeling and otherwise. been in several commercials and on the front of a disabilities flyer at a major college.

although i have dreads past my arse, i am not jamaican. my ethnicity is black, native american, cuban, white, and asian somewhere down the line, i think. self described vintage and thrift store whore, though i mix that flavor with old school hip hop (mostly shell toes, filas, and track suits) and polo gear (as in ralph lauren, not the equine sport). sometimes i paint my nails black, sometimes arch my eyebrows, and will wear a wedding dress if a shoot calls for that...i'm actually putting such a shoot together. i do those things because i can and for no other reason than that. from the hood AND college educated. i use both of those backgrounds to enhance my creative works in modeling, photography, music, lyricism, poetry, writing, interior design, motivational speaking, and community service. not one for boundaries. never have been. agency represented...blah, blah, blah.

FAQ'S

can you stand or walk at all?
no. i'm completely paralyzed from the waist down.

can you move your legs?
only during an involuntary muscle spasm, or by moving them physically with my hands.

does being paralyzed limit your modeling?
about as much as it does my photography (#1022189). just don't expect any cartwheels or full splits outta me.

is that your real hair?
*raised eyebrow* yes. started from a baldie in '88 and got my "high top fade" twisted in '90...been growing it ever since.

what about working outside of your chair?
sure. as long as i'm sitting on something soft enough that i don't fracture my coccyx.


FACTS

the outer right bicep (gargoyle) and left pec (spiderweb) tattoos are the only ones i have.

there's a surgery scar from my xiphoid process (the spot in the middle of your chest where the ribcage meets) to the hairline of my no-no place. it's pretty much covered by hair, though.

i have a labret piercing that most times doesn't have jewelry in it.
