Joyce Mandi is a 6' 1" West African-born international model, media commentator, actress, philanthropist and entrepreneur, who started her modeling career at age 14, after being discovered by model scouts in her native country, Cameroon. From a young age, Joyce became connected to the who's who of the music industry in Cameroon through Sam Mbende and as his protege, she would sometimes appear on award shows on tv to receive awards on his behalf and attend radio and tv interviews with him. Under his umbrella, she also got to be associated with the group formerly known as Macase who tried to help her enhance her singing abilities in preparation for her own single under Sam Mbende's production company. This however did not pan out as Joyce decided to move to the United States to pursue other avenues in the entertainment industry.

Joyce was one of the first models (and only English speaking model) of Gregoire Piwele's modeling agency called First Model's Agency, now known as Annual Show. As a model in Cameroon, she travelled to several other countries for runway and hair shows, as well as fashion campaigns, and featured in many commercials such as Guiness Michael Power and won several beauty and singing contests as she also had a pretty decent singing voice.
In 2005, Joyce moved to the United States to further her education and to pursue her career on a much larger scale. After obtaining a college degree in Communications in Texas, she moved to Los Angeles in 2008 where she embarked on a career in the media, interviewing celebrities off and on the red carpet in Hollywood for an online gossip website known as Gumbumper.com. Alongside her media career, she took part in several runway shows, including the 2011 Mercedes Benz fashion week in New York, a show for Project Runway's Michael Costello who has turned out to be one of Hollywood's design sweethearts, dressing mega stars like Beyoncé, Rihanna etc. Joyce appeared in several magazines such as Vogue IT, became the first covergirl and Face of FabAfriq magazine (a lifestyle and fashion magazine) formerly based in Burmingham U.K. She also landed little roles in a few feature films in Hollywood and was made Global Ambassador for a charity in Cameroon to help Protect and Educate underprivileged children. She also organized little fundraisers to benefit the less fortunate whenever she had the opportunity as giving back to the community and making the world a better place for everyone is her innermost passion.

In recent years, Joyce has been living in Las Vegas, where she continues to do fashion, commercial and promotional modeling for high end designers, retail stores, and other companies and organizations as well as acting. She recently graced billboards in Nevada after a state-wide campaign on water fluoridation that was also in part a tv commercial. Her latest gig involved shooting a tv commercial as one of the principal talents for a housing development in Henderson Nevada, which will start airing in June on all the major tv channels, for a period of 3 years.

Joyce was recently named the Face of London Beauty Cosmetics and Hollywood Hills Records and is currently working on some projects that cannot be disclosed at this time.
