I'm a writer/illustrator/musician, and I'm looking for people who could pose as characters for comics I'm planning on doing. This would require a small amount of acting ability. You don't have to have the skills of Gary Oldman, just the ability to look sad, happy, and so on. I'm looking for a wide variety of people, as my graphic novels will be about many different things.

The book I'm trying to finish now is a bit on the superhero side (and that's what you see in my photos), but I also have plans to do a vampire story next, a horror story, etc. So, all types are welcome. For any super hero work, flexibility would be necessary, and some familiarity with martial arts, or at least the ability to fake it using flexibility, would be beneficial.

I'm also open to other things as well, but that's the main thing I'm looking for. Let me know if there's something you think you would be interested in doing. I could also use models for anatomy study, or single images.

I just want to point out that the art you see here was originally done by pencil and inked and colored using photoshop. More specifically, the inking, which is the process of using ink to go over the pencils to make them stand out and make coloring easier, was done using a mouse.

If you've ever tried drawing with a mouse, you'll understand just how painful it is. It's like that episode of Seinfeld, "The Contest", where your hand twists into a claw shape, minus the fun part. =oD

Basically, what I'm getting at is, this isn't the best my art can look. It's like using a steel toed boot to hammer a nail. It could be done, but you're not getting the best results, and it hurts like hell.

At this time I'm not able to do shoots, for the same reason I can't ink my graphic novels properly. I'm unemployed and can't afford a camera, art tablet, or any compensation for models who charge.
