I have always wanted to create imagery that captured the true essence of an individual's character, or tell a touching or breath-taking story. I headed off for Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California at the age of nineteen. From there I moved to San Francisco and spent the next several years studying 3D Animation and Visual Effects for film, and  working in commercial television production, only shooting stills as a hobby and the occasional favor for friends and colleagues. With a three year lay-over in Iowa, I now live in the woods in northern Minnesota, squirreled away working on a career as a novelist.

I'm on ModelMayhem specifically to find collaborators to create stunning erotica with my particular style and vision.

My particular style is such that I tend to shoot with modified available light, or one-light portraiture (not that I haven't shot with multiple strobes, but I prefer the look a single light can offer). I definitely tend to shoot low-key images, that is somewhat of a signature for me. I also tend to shoot 'glam'/art nudes (and pretty much exclusively of women) but I'd love to change that pattern if at all possible and attempt to broaden my range.

While most of the images here are formatted in a 2:3 (35mm) format, I tend to shoot 6x7 and 4x5 when I'm able. I do prefer film to digital still, yet for pop culture's need for instant gratification, I also have a couple of dSLRs.

I am always open to shoot with models who have a compelling and exciting concept they just can't seem to get shot anywhere else. I do have limited time, but I prefer TF* shoots unless it looks as though I will incur a great deal of expenses putting something together.
