About Me

I started my photography journey in the fall of 2008 when I took some classes at the local university.

Since then, I have shot a few bridals and weddings, some senior portraits, and numerous company functions and events.  I also spent some time shooting local marathons and triathlons as a freelance photographer.  And of course as many modeling shoots as I could schedule.

Most of my early years were spent trying to understand the basic principles of photography, focusing mostly on natural light when I could, but with some studio lighting as well.  In 2012, I taught a Beginner's Photography class over the course of about eight weeks or so (one class session per week).

In early 2015, I retired from my 'real' job.  So now I have a lot more time available, and I want to use that extra time to learn more advanced concepts.

In 2020, I decided to refocus heavily on photography once again.  Therefore, I have set and reached many goals through out the year, including expanding and improving my portfolio from past shoots via Flickr and Instagram.

I have now published a few books on Amazon, in both Kindle eBook as well as Printed Softcover formats.  You can find links to all of my work from the Link Tree social media hub here on my profile.

I have also started to publish some of my work on Stock Photography websites.

And going forward in the years ahead, I hope to be able to publish more of my work not only via eBooks and/or printed books, but also through gallery prints, etc.  And my ultimate goal, at this time, would be the opportunity to showcase some of my best work via an art gallery or similar venue.

I am always interested in learning and experimenting with new techniques, and helping models to build their ports.  So if you like any of the work in my port, feel free message me to schedule a shoot.  Almost all of my shoots with models are TFP (or "Trade Shoot")... whether with an experienced model, or someone new to the industry.

I am comfortable shooting in virtually any genre listed here on Model Mayhem (even if I did not select it), and if for some reason I have never shot a genre that you are interested in, well that would be a perfect opportunity for me to learn and expand my skills.

Thanks for your interest, and I hope to hear from you soon.
