I make money shooting for clients. I have got to the point that I make a good living from what I love. But what I shoot is not really sometimes what I want to shoot. Your client loves you, you love your client. But your client wants something specific, you can totally, well you must totally give them what they want, and you must give them that extra out of you. They usually go for the 'extra' that you give them. But, it stops there! I have got lazy and realize that, if I want to keep loving what I do. I need to make time to do my own shit! If I don't I am screwed! That is why young photographers are so passionate. And that is what I need to keep doing...being passionate. Those young photographers if they can make a living in photography, you have to be good at it!, it will get to that stage...marriage, family, house, schooling, the settling down and focus, AND be responsible time, as its not all about you anymore. And this is why you must always make your own time to do your own thing. And the greatest thing is, when you reach that level, you have the best people in the industry around you that will come together and make whatever you want happen. And that's when you realize I have the best people around me to do my best work. I have had a few to drink disregard the above!
