My name is Rene Gomez, I'm originally from Miami, Florida. I've been assisting for 6 yrs. for such photographers as Jeff Olson, Steven Lippman, James White, Art Brewer, and Sheryl Nields. As for my own photography, I started 10 yrs. ago shooting in the surf industry and got into the sports and lifestyle market. After a brief run in the sports market I decided to expand my horizons and work with some of the best photographers in the advertising and commercial world. Since then my knowledge of lighting has broadened and taught me a lot of what it takes to make it in this industry. Just not only in shooting, but making sure your team and production runs like a well oiled machine.
