The elements of my photography are old and familiar:  dramatic light, an expressive face, and an undraped human form.  Eroticism is always there, but is never the only, or even the major goal.

It is a brave act to model undraped for a stranger's camera.  I try to make this a bit easier with several rules for my studio practise: (1) I welcome models' friends or chaperones at all shoots.  (2) I generally shoot accompanied by a female assistant.  I do not touch models or their clothing or hair, not even to make adjustments.  (3) I show to the model all photos that I intend to use, and use none of them without her permission.

I reserve my "friends" list for people with whom I've had successful collaborations.
