An experienced and proficient makeup artist should understand Art, particularly the Art of Balance. Makeup should accentuate and complement the Model and be appropriate for the shot - it should never overtake either one.

Showcasing facial features with the right colors and techniques is a skill I possess, while still allowing the person to show through.  I specialize in Beauty and Glamour makeup with have a keen eye for symmetry and balance.

I am currently the Associate Beauty Editor for Charlotte Style Magazine, and my work can be seen in various print and online publications.  My rates are competitive with industry standards, and am available for travel outside of the Charlotte area.  I do offer a testing rate for up and coming models and photographers, which is more affordable than my commercial rate.  I am available for trade shoots on a very limited basis, and only if the photographer can provide the following:

-Photographer will provide clean, unmarked images for use in my online and print portfolio.  Watermarked images will be used for social networking sites.
-Images will be delivered in a previously agreed-upon and timely manner.
-I will have input into the concept and look of the shoot

If publication or sales is involved, print credit and budget must be discussed and agreed upon between the photographer, magazine publisher, and myself.

-Concept for the shoot, and your vision for the look of the models
-Compensation, or ask for my rates

If I have not worked with you before, I reserve the right to bring an escort to a shoot.  My escort will not interfere with the shoot and will present a professional image.

If you would like to work with me, I appreciate as much advance notice as you can give me - I tend to book months in advance, due to my demand in the industry.  If we agree to work together, will do all I can to arrange my schedule to be at your shoot.  If I commit to a shoot, you can rest assured that I am dependable and will arrive on time and ready to work for you!
